Hosts: Real Art Muse, aka Cindy Glanzrock, podcast producer and host of "Inside The She Cave: Trailblazers, Innovators, and Rule Breakers,” in collaboration with Women of Culture.
Museum of Sex presents a comprehensive series of sculptures by renowned New York artist Carole Feuerman—with works from 1976, never publicly exhibited in the United States. The early figurative fragments show Feuerman’s bold entry into Pop Realism—Originally censored after a debut in Fort Worth, TX in 1978, this body of work is being unveiled, offering a rare glimpse into the foundation of her sculptors which go on to define her super realistic art. Carole shares her unique insights into her creative process, materials, and inspiration, both provocative and personal.
Her evocative style invites psychological interpretation, standing apart from contemporaries like George Segal and Duane Hanson,
and parallels with Andy Warhol’s career
which began in advertising and she later designed for The Rolling Stones.
